Director and Principal Mediator

Janis, founder of Bendigo Mediation, aims to swiftly assist those affected by disputes, minimising emotional and financial strain. With 20+ years of experience and a background in Social Work, Janis engages empathetically, listens attentively, and responds without judgment. As a Nationally Accredited Mediator and registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, she prioritises inclusive solutions, ensuring everyone's voice is heard, including children's.

With extensive experience in Employment Assistant Programs and as a Workcover mediator, Janis comprehends workplace complexities and is committed to fostering positive and safe cultures. Passionate about resolving conflicts for separating couples, employers, and business owners, Janis guides towards fair and positive outcomes.

Libby Reardon

Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Parenting Co-ordinator and Collaborative Family Lawyer

Libby is a trained collaborative family lawyer, parenting coordinator and family dispute resolution practitioner accredited under the Attorney General’s Department. She is a creative problem solver who focuses her practice on non-adversarial dispute resolution and settlement. Her objective is to assist families to take a solution-focused approach to separation which avoids escalation of conflict, protects their ability to make their own choices and assists families to move more quickly into new, settled lives. Libby also has a degree in Finance, so is well equipped to understand and assist separating couples to reach effective property settlements.
